Will The Rings of Power Season 3 improve
The Rings of Power finally shows its most important scene
The Season 3 teaser for The Rings of Power goes straight for Sauron forging the One Ring, which is either the obvious choice or the only choice. Probably both.
It also jumps five years after Season 2, so the show is at least trying to give Middle-earth some actual historical weight instead of making every episode feel like it happened last Tuesday.
The part I’m watching for The ring-forging imagery looks expensive, sure, but the real question is whether the season can make all that mythology feel like a story about people rather than a very glossy wiki page. Good sound design and a little restraint would help. The explosions can wait.
The teaser is here, and I’m cautiously interested. Cautious because this show has absolutely made me admire a landscape while forgetting three character names.
