I did not expect Chad Powers to become a returning character in my watchlist, but here we are. Disney+ has renewed the comedy for Season 2, which feels like a vote of confidence in the very specific chaos of Glen Powell playing a deeply questionable football persona.
the real test Season 2 has to find a reason for the disguise to keep being funny instead of just repeating the bit. I’m cautiously in. My partner will probably make me watch the first season again, which is how streaming wins every time.
