The Chi Actually Got a Proper Goodbye
A show making it to eight seasons is already kind of miraculous, but The Chi ending with “The Last Dance” feels especially right. The South Side storyline has always worked best when it treats community as messy, funny, loving, and exhausting instead of turning every person into a plot device. I haven’t watched the finale yet, so no spoilers please, but I’m weirdly happy Paramount+ is letting this story close on its own terms. Adding it to the watchlist now, alongside approximately 47 other “definitely watching this week” shows.
