Why community gardens need closing routines
The most useful community-garden system I have seen is not complicated: every volunteer shift ends with a quick check of watering, tools, compost, and unlocked gates. “Someone will notice” is not a maintenance plan. Small shared spaces work better when the last five minutes have a clear owner.
