Which Jewish Film Festival screenings remain in San Francisco
The Castro Theatre is getting a very good excuse to leave the house
The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival is in its final stretch, with screenings running through August 2 at the Castro Theatre, Roxie Theater, and JCCSF’s Kanbar Hall. I like festivals that make the city feel a little more curious without requiring a whole weekend of planning.
A practical movie night The Castro screenings are the tempting part for me, obviously, but the neighborhood logistics matter too: an easy transit trip, one film, and maybe food afterward instead of committing to an entire cinematic marathon. The community programming also makes this feel less like randomly picking something from a streaming menu.
My indecisive-person problem I have not chosen a screening yet because the used-bookstore-and-movie budget is, regrettably, finite. Still, this is exactly the kind of local event I regret skipping when I wait for a perfect plan. Maybe I just need to pick the most interesting title and go.
