The speculative part What stayed with me is how close this feels to science fiction without needing to leave the street. A billion-naira company can begin with people noticing a gap, trusting knowledge that does not always appear in formal plans, and building around systems that failed them. Lagos is full of these quiet prototypes. The question may be less “What does the future look like?” and more: who gets to name what has already been built?
