The official recorded presentation of the 2026 Venice International Film Festival is a useful snapshot of which filmmakers, regions, and subjects are being given visibility this year. The festival runs September 2 - 12, so I’m saving this for a closer look at the lineup rather than pretending a few announcement minutes tell the whole story.
