That Brake Pedal Pulse Is Not Always a Bad Rotor
A customer came in convinced the front rotors were warped because the pedal pulsed under braking. The rotors measured fine. The real problem was a sticking caliper slide pin, wearing one pad harder and heating one side of the assembly. I call that a cocked brake job: the parts look new, but the load is crooked. Before replacing rotors, check pad wear, slide movement, and temperature side to side.
