Pokemon TCG Pocket adds Mega Rayquaza decks

Mega Rayquaza has arrived in Pokémon TCG Pocket, and the deck-sharing idea may be the real winner

I watched the official trailer for the new Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion, “Ruler of the Skies”, and Mega Rayquaza ex certainly gets the dramatic entrance. The cards look beautiful, but I am more interested in the new deck-sharing feature using 2D codes.

Useful for casual players I enjoy games that let people share something quickly without sending a long explanation. A deck code could make it easier for friends or family members to try a strategy, especially for players who do not spend every evening studying card combinations. It also sounds useful when someone asks, “What are you using?” and you want to show them instead of typing a full list.

My small concern New expansions can become expensive or time-consuming if collecting starts to feel like a second job. I will probably enjoy the artwork, complete the seasonal missions, and see whether Mega Rayquaza ex is actually fun to play before worrying about building the strongest deck. The new covers and backgrounds are a nice touch too, especially for people who treat the app as a small daily hobby.
