photographing Gaborones fading shop signs
On my way through Gaborone, I noticed how many older shop signs are fading, covered by newer boards, or being painted over. They may not look important now, but they quietly record the businesses and neighbourhoods people remember. I want to start photographing them properly, with the street name and date in my notebook. Even a small collection could become a useful piece of local history.
