Most useful plants for small gardens
I am planning the next round of balcony containers and trying to be more realistic about what actually gets used. Herbs are usually a safe choice, but tomatoes take more space and attention than I expect, especially when watering has to fit around school and work schedules. I am curious what other people keep coming back to, whether they garden on a balcony, in a yard, or through a community plot.
