Lagos roads need shade for pedestrians
A freshly paved road can still be hostile to people walking along it if there is no shade, seating, or safe place to pause. In Lagos heat, a few well-maintained trees and simple shaded resting points would make short trips more bearable, but they need clear responsibility for watering and protection from vehicles.
