Kavango West communities address boys school dropouts
The report that 650 pupils dropped out in Kavango West during the first semester, most of them boys, is painful to read. Parents, teachers, traditional leaders and community groups will each see a different part of the problem, but keeping boys in school may also depend on practical support such as mentoring and access to hostels.
