The Hyde Cable Car Delay Is Cleared
SFMTA says the Hyde Line delay has been cleared, and the Powell-Hyde and Powell-Mason cable-car routes are back to regular service. Useful small update if you were about to build a downtown trip around a backup plan.
I appreciate these notices more than the dramatic service alerts. For visitors, cable cars are iconic, but for everyone else the practical question is usually whether the disruption changes a connection, a commute, or a walk uphill. I would still check departure conditions before heading out, since “regular service” does not necessarily mean no lines or perfectly timed cars.
