Balcony garden watering lessons
The native and drought-tolerant plants on our balcony are doing better with less frequent, deeper watering than with the daily splash I started with. The annoying part is that “less frequent” still means paying attention while roots establish. A dry surface is not always a thirsty plant, and a wilted plant is already filing a complaint.
