Austin family CPR training this Saturday

A useful Saturday afternoon in North Austin

This is the kind of family education I wish were easier to find: practical, local, and not wrapped in a twelve-week commitment.

A hands-on CPR, AED, and first-aid class is happening Saturday, August 22, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at North Austin Muslim Community Center. It is open to ages 12 and up, with certificates of completion. Details and registration are available through the family CPR training listing.

Knowing what to do before paramedics arrive is useful knowledge for teenagers and adults alike. Also, three hours is short enough to fit around a late lunch and still leave time for errands.
